- How do I download a TikTok video?
- Paste the link, click Load video, then choose thumbnail only, normal quality video, or high quality video — each has its own full-width button.
- Do I need a TikTok account?
- No. You only need the public share URL of the video you want to save.
- Which links are supported?
- Links whose hostname is tiktok.com (including www.tiktok.com and vm.tiktok.com). Other hosts are rejected on this page.
- What is the difference between Normal and High quality?
- Normal aims for a smaller, faster file; High requests the best stream the server can get. Results depend on TikTok and our Addix / yt-dlp pipeline.
- Is the API key safe?
- Yes. Requests go through this server to Addix; your browser never sees ADDIX_API_KEY. If Addix does not offer the video route yet, this server can fall back to yt-dlp (see .env.example).
- Are “Recent links” stored on your servers?
- No. They are saved only in this browser’s localStorage on your device (up to eight links). Clear site data or use private browsing to remove them.
