Help center — get the most from Image.Addix

Learn how to convert JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, RAW, and more in bulk, use ZIP uploads, and find the right format pair—free and without creating an account.

Getting started

Image.Addix is built for fast bulk image conversion: cameras, phones, design exports, and web pipelines. Choose the path that matches your workflow.

1. Format hubs (one source, many targets)

Open a hub such as HEIC converter or PNG converter from the Convert menu. You’ll see every valid output we offer for that source—same rules as the database behind our pair pages.

Hubs are ideal when you always start from the same type (e.g. iPhone photos) but might export to PNG, JPG, or WebP.

2. Dedicated pair pages

For a fixed pair like WEBP to PNG or JPG to AVIF, use the Conversion Hub. Each page includes guides, quality notes, and internal links to related formats.

3. Optimization options

After you add files, expand Optimization settings to set width, height, fit (max / crop / scale), and whether to strip EXIF/metadata. Leave fields empty to let the engine choose sensible defaults.

Troubleshooting

  • ! Target list changed: When you change the source format, targets update to match supported pairs—if your previous target isn’t listed, pick another or search the hub.
  • ! Wrong extension in picker: Make sure your files match the source you selected (e.g. .jpg for JPEG).
  • ! Slow or large batches: Try smaller queues or use ZIP on the home page; very heavy RAW sets may take longer.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert images for free on Image.Addix?

Use Start Converting to choose a source and target format, add files, then click Convert All. Or open a format hub (e.g. JPG converter) or a dedicated pair page from the Conversion Hub. For many files in one ZIP, use the bulk tool on the home page.

Why can’t I select some format pairs?

Only combinations our engine supports appear in the target list for each source. That keeps conversions reliable. Try another target or browse the Conversion Hub for the exact pair you need.

How many files can I convert at once?

The queue on pair and quick-convert pages supports batch processing. The home page ZIP workflow is best for large folders. Fair-use limits may apply for abuse prevention.

Will my filenames stay the same?

Yes—downloads use your original base name with the new extension where possible.

Is my data private?

Files are processed to complete your job; see our Privacy Policy for retention and security details.
